Applications for the Kiran Pratibha Scholarship 2026 are now closed.
And before we say anything else — thank you. Thank you for believing. Thank you for filling out that form, gathering those documents, writing about your dreams. Thank you for the courage it takes to say: "I am exceptional, and I deserve a chance."
You are right. You do.
We received overwhelming number of applications this year from villages, small towns, and cities across India. From families who have given everything they have to get you this far. From backgrounds that would have stopped most people — but not you.
Each application we read reminded us why Kiran Foundation exists. This is not a number to us. These are stories of determination, of late nights studying, of parents who sacrificed quietly, of teachers who believed when others didn't.
We are humbled. And we are grateful.
Our selection process is now underway. Every application is being reviewed carefully and fairly — by a panel that includes IIT graduates, educators, lawyers and community leaders. This is not a box-ticking exercise. We read your story. We consider your potential. We look for the outliers — the ones with grit, capability and dreams.
All candidates who have been selected for the interview round will be informed by 10th May. Please keep an eye on your email and phone.
This is the hardest part to write.
We will not be able to offer a scholarship to every deserving candidate. And there will be many — truly exceptional young people — who do not make it through this time. That is not a reflection of your worth. It is not a judgement of your potential. It is simply the reality of limited resources against extraordinary need.
If you do not hear from us — please know this: the fact that you applied tells us everything about who you are. You are someone who reaches. Someone who tries. Someone who refuses to be defined by their circumstances.
Keep working. Keep building. Keep proving people wrong — including us. The world needs exactly the kind of person you are becoming.
And if you are not selected this year, we hope you will apply again. We hope you will stay close to Kiran. Because this is not the end of your story. It is just one chapter.
To everyone who applied — you have reminded us that the need is real, the talent is there, and the resolve of India's young people is extraordinary.
We carry that responsibility seriously.
